Lobo Mau Flagship
2020 / Philadelphia, PA
BRICK AND MORTAR
Eco-friendly clothing designers and fashion entrepreneur siblings Nicole and Jordan Haddad were seeking a storefront space for their company Lobo Mau to complement their thriving screen-printing and design studio. Their original studio in the Bok building in South Philadelphia hosted an extra large screen-printing table and shopping by appointment, but this small storefront just off the vibrant South Street retail corridor allowed the pair to expand and reach new audiences.
HAND MADE
Working with a minimal budget and DIY approach, the existing interior was lightly renovated, with a bold black and white color scheme, handpainted wall graphics and Shoppable Windows. A custom bent-metal logo sign doubled as primary clothing rack, and millwork for the cash wrap and display tables featured splatter-paint patterned MDF.
